Our mission is to ensure food security for all IDEA scholars by providing access to nutritious meals through compliant operations, and dedicated staff, to promote lifelong healthy eating habits.
Welcome! Our department leads the way in making IDEA Public Schools the healthiest school district in the nation. Comprised of nearly 1,000 employees, our campus teams prepare & serve nutritious meals to around 80,000 IDEA scholars every school day.

The Child Nutrition Program (CNP) at IDEA Public Schools has qualified to participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) in States of Texas, Louisiana, Florida and Ohio. This reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that ALL students are able to receive free, nutritious breakfasts and lunches each and every day. Make sure you child comes to school with an appetite for our delicious and healthy meals!
