By publicly posting the following written disclosure, IDEA Public Schools intends that market participants receive and use it for purposes of the independent registered municipal advisor exemption to the SEC Municipal Advisor Rule. IDEA Public Schools has retained an independent registered municipal advisor. IDEA Public Schools is represented by and will rely on its municipal advisor, First Southwest Company, to provide advice on proposals from financial services firms concerning the issuance of municipal securities. The individuals with primary responsibility for advising IDEA Public Schools on such matters are Cris Vela, Drew Masterson and Francine Stefan. This certificate may be relied upon until June 30, 2015 or otherwise withdrawn by us.
IDEA Public Schools is proud to announce that we will be implementing the use of Tyler Munis Vendor Self Service (VSS) that will assist in providing a better service to all our vendors. The VSS system will include improved, new processes that will assist you and us with maintaining accurate information regarding your vendor file (i.e., contact, banking and W9 information, etc.). Effective immediately we will be requesting that all vendors (new and current) register with VSS for IDEA Public Schools –
IDEA Public Schools Tyler Munis Vendor Self Service
Registering will help ensure that you receive your organization’s Purchase Orders (PO) and payments in a timely manner. In addition, once registered, you will have access to view purchase orders and payment activity records for your organization. You’ll be asked to select the products for which you desire to receive quote requests and indicate communication preferences (i.e., email, remit to address, etc.).
If you are an existing vendor, then your vendor number and your FIN/SSN number are required for VSS Registration. Your vendor number can be found on the lower left-hand side of your payment stub or ACH remittance or on your Purchase Order (PO). If you don’t have direct access to this information, please contact our office at purchasing@ideapublicschools.org and we’ll be glad to help! If you are a new vendor this number will be assigned to you once you register.
For questions about this process please contact the Purchasing Department: purchasing@ideapublicschools.org
For questions about how to access or use the Tyler Munis Vendor Self Service please see the interactive video of how to register for VSS.
If you need additional assistance, please reach out to our Zendesk Team: BOSupport@ideapublicschools.org to submit a ticket for assistance.
