5. IDEA Lakeland Campus Groundbreaking Ceremony
IDEA is thrilled to welcome a new campus and community Lakeland, Florida. The groundbreaking ceremony included speeches from IDEA Victory scholars and IDEA Tampa Bay Executive Director, James Hartman. Joined by Lakeland Mayor Bill Mutz and Florida State Representative Jennifer Canady, Lakeland is one step closer to the road to and through college.
4. Ribbon Cutting of the Inclusive Playground at IDEA Mission
The inclusive playground at IDEA Mission provides children of all abilities with opportunities to participate in recreation. All students, regardless of their unique needs and abilities, have a place on campus where they can play with their peers and feel included.
3. IDEA Carver Band Performs at a UTSA Football Game
High School Band students from IDEA Carver in San Antonio joined the University of Texas San Antonio’s Spirit of San Antonio (SOSA) Marching Band at the UTSA vs. Rice University football game in November. Scholars performed during the Veteran’s Day halftime show after spending the day rehearsing with UTSA students and faculty.
2. Student/Teacher Swap Day at IDEA Bridge
IDEA Bridge in Baton Rouge, Louisiana brought joy with a fun dress day where students walked in their teachers’ shoes and swapped their uniforms for business casual. Our teachers wore the classic IDEA uniform with their colored polos and khakis.
1. IDEA Class of 2023’s First Day of College
The IDEA Class of 2023 moved into their campus dorms and shared photos with their IDEA campuses to mark this achievement.
