IDEA Sports Park

With IDEA, Mr. Bell has served as a fifth grade teacher, grade team leader, district course leader, Assistant Principal, and a Principal in Residence. In 2020, Mr. Bell was part of the launching team at IDEA Sports Park and has proudly been serving and leading in this capacity over the last three years. As a former athlete, he values teamwork and seeks to continuously find ways to grow his campus, his team, and himself. On any given day, you can find Mr. Bell in classrooms, celebrating with students, and talking to them about their work as they pursue the goal on being an A rated campus!

Before coming to IDEA Public Schools, I worked for the Brownsville Independent School District for 20 years as a Teacher Assistant, Counselors Secretary, Registrar Clerk, and Administrative Assistant. My journey with IDEA started in 2008 as part of the administrative team. I started working in the role of Director of Operations at IDEA Frontier after graduating in 2007. I have also worked as a Regional Director of Operations at IDEA's Headquarters office.

I love what I do. I believe in Family, Faith, and Education. I am so blessed to be part of a team and family that believes that every student deserves a shot at success in college and in life, and to be successful, you need a great education. Together, we achieve making the dream realistic of getting families children to and through college.
