Today, 19 of IDEA’s high schools were ranked among the best high schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report!
This is the 15th consecutive year, IDEA has been represented in the annual list of rankings, reflecting the hard work you are exhibiting every day for our students. This achievement affirms what we know all too well – IDEA schools and everyone who is a part of our dedicated Team & Family prepare students to succeed in college and in life.

According to U.S. News & World Report, the 2023 Best High Schools rankings take a holistic approach to evaluating schools, looking at six factors: college readiness, state assessment proficiency, and state assessment performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth, and graduation rates. The highest-ranked schools include those whose students demonstrated outstanding outcomes above expectations in math, reading, and science state assessments, earned qualifying scores in an array of college-level exams, and graduated in high proportions.
