We look forward to having our students return to IDEA Public Schools for the 2023-2024 school year! To guarantee your student’s spot, you will need to re-register your child through STREAM  by  Friday, January 27, 2023.

Please read the information below for frequently asked questions about the Intent to Return process:

1. I already created a STREAM account. Do I need to create another one?
   A: No. Families can log into their existing STREAM account to complete the Intent to Return process. If your student is missing from your account, please reach out to your student’s current campus for assistance in linking them to your existing account.
   
2. Why do I need to update the Intent to Return form for my child? They already attend IDEA.
   A: Great question!  The Intent to Return process is important because it lets us know that your child is coming back to IDEA and guarantees their spot next year.
3. I want my child to transfer to another IDEA campus. What do I do? 
   A: When completing the Intent to Return form, you will have the option to apply for a transfer and will then be prompted to complete a transfer application. Transfer requests are included in our student lottery, which will take place February 18. Please note that a transfer is dependent on the space available at your campus of interest.
4. My child will not be returning to IDEA.  Do I still need to complete this process? 
   A: While we are sad to see your child go, you must still complete the process.  In the online form, you will have the option to indicate that your child will not be returning to IDEA.  This crucial step allows us to determine which spots are open for future IDEA students! Additionally, you will be asked to update your contact information so we can continue to communicate with you this year to ensure a successful transition.
5. I need help.  Who can I talk with about the Intent to Return process?   
   A: Please email registration@ideapublicschools.org  with any questions or concerns you may have.  You can also contact your campus directly or contact your enrollment coordinator (if applicable).
