IDEA River Bluff Receives “A” Rating from the Florida Department of Education

IDEA Public Schools is proudly celebrating the “A” rating from one of our Jacksonville, Florida campuses, IDEA River Bluff

Founded in 2022, IDEA River Bluff serves over 750 students from the grade levels of K-4 and 6-7. In the campus’s second school year, they have received a prestigious “A” rating from the Florida Department of Education.

The ratings are based on the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) tests, which were conducted last spring in the subjects of English Language Arts and Math.

“While our energy and excitement are focused on this spring semester, we should take a moment to celebrate the wins at IDEA River Bluff, which are indicative of the hard work and dedication of our students, families, and staff,” Simaran Bakshi, Executive Director of IDEA Jacksonville, said.

To celebrate this outstanding accomplishment, the campus held a pep rally, which featured a spectacular performance from the school’s co-ed step team, founded by science teacher Karmen Pierce.

“We remain committed to ensuring that the instruction we’re providing to our students is rigorous, college-aligned, and prepares students to meet and exceed the level of rigor of the FAST and other state metrics and will continue to focus on addressing gaps and cultivating strong results as we work to prepare our students for success in college and beyond,” Bakshi added.

IDEA River Bluff, home of the Stingrays, looks forward to finishing out the 2023-24 school year as one of the top-ranked elementary schools in the Jacksonville area.
