IDEA Public Schools’ College Signing Day (CSD) events for 2024 are in full gear! Every year, IDEA hosts CSD for regions with graduating seniors. This is a time to recognize the hard work and dedication our graduating class has had all year. IDEA’s mission towards College for All is proven with every college acceptance and decision.  

This year, our seniors from IDEA Bluff Springs, IDEA Montopolis, and IDEA Rundberg came together to reveal their college decisions for their families, fellow scholars, and others in the IDEA community.  

The IDEA Austin Class of 2024 is comprised of 166 seniors who sent over 2,200 college applications. The class had around 1,200 college acceptances, with 411 of those acceptances being to Tier 1 and Tier 2 schools.  

Many students decided to stay close to home, with the selection of schools such as Texas State University, St. Edward’s University, University of Texas at San Antonio, and University of Texas. Some students will venture off far and wide, with selections to Boston College, Johns Hopkins University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, American University, and so many more.  

We would love to congratulate each scholar from IDEA Austin graduating class of 2024! Out of our three regions celebrating CSD, our Austin region senior class has the highest percentage of students who will be first-generation college students. To the IDEA Austin senior class of 2024, we wish you a momentous graduation ceremony filled with joy and achievement, and we eagerly anticipate your path to and through college!
