This week, IDEA Public Schools concluded their 2024 College Signing Day celebrations and events by recognizing our soon to be graduating seniors from across our San Antonio region.
This year, we welcomed 574 seniors at the Freeman Coliseum from 10 of our San Antonio region campuses to reveal their college decisions for the first time in front of their families, friends, and fellow scholars. Three new campuses, IDEA Brackenridge, IDEA Ewing Halsell, and IDEA Najim E. Harvey welcomed their first graduating classes this year.
Our San Antonio seniors sent out over 6,100 college applications and collectively received 3,408 acceptances! Amongst these acceptances, 688 were from selective and highly selective colleges, including an Ivy League school. Many of our seniors will be attending the University of Texas at San Antonio, University of the Incarnate Word, St. Mary’s University, and Texas A&M at San Antonio. Other seniors made selections to schools such as Baylor University, Penn State University, University of Arizona, Abilene Christian University, and so many more.
