The momentum of our College Signing Day Events continues as we head down to Rio Grande Valley to celebrate our IDEA RGV class of 2024! With pride we gather to honor the achievements of nearly 1,500 seniors, each embarking on their unique journey towards higher education, amidst their family, supportive friends, and fellow scholars.
Over two days, 1,493 seniors from 19 campuses across the Rio Grande Valley shared their college decisions at the McAllen Convention Center. This year, IDEA Rio Grande City and IDEA Tres Lagos joined the ceremonies and celebrations with their respective first graduating classes.
The IDEA Rio Grande Valley senior class of 2024 were busy this year as over 14,000 college applications were submitted! Amongst these applications, an impressive total of 7,766 acceptances have been received, with 2,239 offers coming from selective or highly selective institutions, including 10 prestigious Ivy League schools.
Seniors from our Rio Grande Valley region made selections to Boston University, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M University, University of Michigan, and many more!
We would like to congratulate each scholar of the graduating class of 2024 and their families on this celebratory moment.
