Know Your First Day of School 

The wait is over— classes are beginning! Be sure to review your region’s academic calendar to confirm your scholar’s first day of school.

Keep Your Scholar Healthy 

Regular attendance starts with good health. We encourage families to complete required immunizations as early as possible to help protect students and our campus communities. Please remember that students must have the required immunization documentation before attending school. If you have any questions, your campus Health Aide is available to assist. 

Plan for Arrival and Dismissal 

During the first few weeks of school, arrival and dismissal may take a little longer than usual. If possible, arrive early and allow extra time for drop-off and pick-up. We appreciate your patience as we work to make these processes as safe and efficient as possible. 

Stay Connected 

Don’t miss important campus updates throughout the year! Follow your campus on Facebook for the latest news, announcements, and events. We also encourage families to save their campus phone number in their contacts so important calls and messages are easy to recognize. 

As your scholar celebrates their first day back, be sure to snap a photo using our printable first-day signs and share it on social media. Don’t forget to tag your campus and IDEA Public Schools and use the hashtag #IDEABack2School—we can’t wait to celebrate this exciting milestone with you!
