Backpacks for Bright Futures

Backpacks for Bright Futures is IDEA Public Schools’ annual community celebration that helps families kick off the new school year with excitement and support. At each Backpacks for Bright Futures event, families can enjoy a fun-filled day with music, family activities, community resources, and free backpacks for students. With the support of partners like iHeartMedia, our generous sponsors, and local vendors, campuses transform into lively community gatherings where families can enjoy the celebration while students receive the tools they need to start the school year confident and ready to learn.

Backpack Distribution Information: Free backpacks will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. To receive a backpack, students must be present at the event. We encourage families to arrive early, as quantities are limited and backpacks cannot be reserved or held.
