IDEA Public Schools Announces Partnership with Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE)

IDEA Public Schools is proud to announce our new partnership agreement with Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE), a nonprofit civic leadership development organization with a mission to build a diverse movement of leaders to engage civically within their communities to end the injustice of inequity.

Through our partnership, IDEA Public Schools seniors, alumni, staff and families receive free membership to LEE. With exclusive access to the tools, resources, and industry knowledge they need to take collective action and create change in their communities, LEE supports its members with specialized coaching, leadership development opportunities, skill-building workshops, and more. The IDEA community is now invited to join their network at no cost.

LEE believes that when a diverse group of leaders, grounded in a commitment to equity, are in leadership roles, they can be a transformative force for and with students and communities.  IDEA shares this belief, and this partnership will equip IDEA students, staff, families, and alumni to be empowered leaders and advocates so they can create the futures they want for themselves and their communities.

At approximately 13,000 IDEA alumni and 12,000 active staff members, the IDEA Team and Family is positioned to lead as champions for equity in IDEA’s four states and eleven regions. If you are part of the IDEA Team and Family and ready to take the next step in your leadership journey, register with LEE today at no cost to access upcoming events and resources available now.
