Since beginning his educational career in 2004, Mr. Tudor has been a dedicated educator and leader within the Dallas-Fort Worth area. With experience in special education, science, math, and history, he brings a diverse background and a deep understanding of educational needs across various disciplines. In 2016, Mr. Tudor stepped into instructional leadership and quickly made a mark by helping transform IDEA Achieve Academy from an F-rated to an A-rated institution within just one year after joining in 2021.
With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Tudor is renowned for his instructional leadership and his proven ability to enhance student growth. As the Principal of IDEA Rise Academy, he is committed to continuing the school's legacy of success and striving to make it a premier educational institution within IDEA Public Schools. His leadership approach is centered on fostering an environment that nurtures academic excellence and holistic development for both students and teachers.
Mr. Tudor is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Psychology at the University of North Texas, highlighting his commitment to continuous learning and leadership development. Outside the school, he is a devoted husband and father to three daughters. When not advancing educational goals, Mr. Tudor enjoys golfing and cheering for his alma mater, the University of Texas Longhorns.
Following a successful internship in a school setting in 2013 at the University of Oklahoma, Ms. Turner discovered her passion for education, drawing from her background in Social Work. With a family legacy in teaching, she seamlessly transitioned into the field. After refining her skills in operations at a charter school in 2017, she assumed the role of APO at IDEA Rise. Dedicated to furthering IDEA's mission, she finds immense satisfaction in her journey
When she isn’t strategizing on ways to increase attendance for scholars, or conducting building walk
throughs, Ms. Turner enjoys staying active, savoring culinary experiences, and exploring captivating
documentaries outside of work. Recently engaged, she eagerly anticipates exploring Fort Worth's
vibrant offerings with cherished friends and family
Anthony Young is an experienced educator with a passion for helping students achieve their goals. He has spent 15 years working in education, including 10 years as a math teacher before moving into administration roles.
Young strongly believes that all students have the potential to succeed if they apply dedicated effort and hard work. His teaching philosophy centers on the idea of having a "growth mindset", where students focus on their academic growth and move towards completion.
Since 2019, Young has taught at IDEA Rise College Prep as he was part of the founding faculty when the school opened its doors and has played an integral role in establishing the campus culture and traditions. His work has helped the campus achieve an A rating 3 years in a row. Mr. Young is excited to see the growth and development of IDEA Rise.
Looking ahead, he is committed to continuing to make his mark on the school community. Mr. Young's main attention is supporting IDEA Rise students in their academic journeys where they can get to and through college. He finds great fulfillment in being able to positively impact students' lives and educational outcomes.
