IDEA Public Schools is committed to providing families with visibility into the instructional materials used in classrooms. On this page, families can review district instructional materials, access local course syllabi, and learn how to request additional materials or ask questions.

What You Can Find On This Page

This page is designed to give families access to instructional materials and course information used across IDEA Public Schools. Families may use this page to: 

  • Review district-designed instructional materials. 
  • Access syllabi for teacher-designed and university-designed courses.
  • Understand the differences between course types .
  • Request additional materials or ask questions about materials used in a course.
Course Definitions

To support clarity and consistency, IDEA uses the following course definitions for instructional materials review and parent visibility.

Request Additional Materials or Ask Questions

If you would like to request additional instructional materials or have questions about materials used in your child’s course, you may use one of the following options:

  • Option 1: Contact Your Child’s School 
    You may contact your child’s school directly to request instructional materials used in your child’s course. 
  • Option 2: Submit a Request by Email 
    You may submit a request to: curriculumrequests@ideapublicschools.org 


When submitting a request, please include:
 

  • Student’s Campus Name
  • Course name 
  • Teacher name (if known)
  • A brief description of the materials you are requesting or your question.


IDEA will acknowledge requests within 1 business day. Requested materials will be provided within 5 business days.
