Celebrating Facilities Appreciation Day

Our IDEA facilities team consists of our amazing custodians, facilities managers, regional managers of facilities and construction, and HQ staff who go above and beyond to ensure academic excellence by making sure our campuses are running smoothly and students are getting the best educational experience possible.

Maria Raygoza, Custodian at IDEA Bluff Springs

For IDEA’s Facilities Appreciation Day, we’re recognizing the work of Maria Raygoza and the other nearly 400 members of our facilities team who collectively keep our students in functional, safe and clean learning environments every day!

Maria is adored by all of her students and coworkers on campus.

“I love seeing the students every morning, it is my favorite part of the day,” said Maria. “I take so much pride in maintaining the school. I want all the children to be able to attend a school that is beautiful and clean.”

Maria has maintained the facilities at Bluff Springs for six years. She remains excited about her role each day and appreciates other facilities staff members who also maintain the campus.

“I love my job and I love the people here at Bluff Springs,” she said.

Our facilities team members are part of the larger IDEA Operations Team, a network of dedicated individuals who play an invaluable role in ensuring our schools are up and running properly and ready for students and staff success.

Thank you again, facilities team. We’d be a mess without you!
