IDEA Public Schools is proud to announce that 22 campuses from our Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, Austin, Tarrant County, and El Paso regions have been recognized as top schools in the 2024-2025 Children at Risk rankings.   

For the past 20 years, Children at Risk has ranked and graded Texas public schools to help parents, educators, and community members better understand how their local schools are performing. The grading system for elementary and middle schools is based on student achievement, student growth, and relative performance, while high school grades include an additional metric of college readiness.   

New this year, the Gold Ribbon category expanded to include charter and magnet campuses serving student populations of more than 75% economically disadvantaged students while still earning an A or B rating.
