IDEA Ingram Hills

As a 2016 graduate of Texas A&M University Corpus Christi with a degree in Education she followed her mother’s footsteps and fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming an educator.

She began working with IDEA public schools in 2017 as a 2nd grade math teacher at IDEA Weslaco Pike and then transitioned over to help open IDEA Ingram Hills as a founding Kinder teacher where she also served as grade team lead for 1st grade. Alyssa was then promoted to school leadership in 2020 serving as the Assistant Principal of Operations.

Alyssa believes in college for all children and is excited to be working with students and families in a different capacity since leaving the classroom. She holds high standards as she leads the operations team to ensure student learning is maximized throughout the school day.
