Biography

Ryan Green brings more than two decades of senior leadership experience from Southwest Airlines, the largest domestic airline in the United States – carrying over 130 million passengers annually and generating more than $27 billion in revenue.  He served in multiple C-suite roles including Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer, and Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.

In these roles, he redesigned the company’s Rapid Rewards loyalty program, led enterprise growth initiatives, modernized digital self-service to improve the customer experience, secured board approval for a $2B investment to enhance the inflight experience, and oversaw sustained commercial performance – including nine consecutive quarters of record revenue.  During his tenure leading the commercial organization, Southwest Airlines maintained the #1 ranking in J.D. Power’s customer satisfaction rating for three consecutive years.

In addition, Ryan is the Founder and Principal of GreenPoint Advisory, where he advises CEOs and founders on growth strategy, customer and loyalty monetization, digital and commercial transformation, and operating model effectiveness.

Ryan earned a B.B.A. in Marketing from Texas A&M University and serves on the Mays School of Business Dean’s Advisory Board.
