IDEA Public Schools is excited to announce the launch of our annual Spring Family Survey! At IDEA, we highly value student and family voice. We survey our IDEA K – 12th grade parents and 3rd – 12th grade students to gain insight on their perception of our schools and district effectiveness. To ensure we continue to provide high-quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for college and career, we welcome all feedback from our families and students. The Spring survey opens Monday, March 3, and closes Friday, April 11.

What is the purpose of the survey?
We survey our IDEA parents and students to understand their perspectives on our schools and district effectiveness. Their feedback is essential in helping us maintain high-quality, rigorous learning experiences that support our students’ needs and prepare them for college and careers.
Who completes the online surveys?
Students and parents annually complete a survey about the school and their teachers. Students in 3rd –12th grade complete the surveys online. Each student will complete a survey about the school and a survey for each of their teachers. Parents will complete a set of surveys for students in grades K – 12. Families will complete an online survey about the school as well as a survey about their child’s teachers.

When is the survey window?
The 2024-2025 Spring Family Survey opens for students and parents on Monday, March 3, and closes on Friday, April 11.

3rd – 12th grade students will have access to the survey in class during the instructional day.
