Ms. Corrie Mathias is a dedicated educator from Dallas, Texas, who brings a wealth of experience to her role as principal.
With a strong background in urban, diverse educational settings, Corrie has spent ten years in the field, most recently serving as Assistant Principal of Instruction, Interim Principal, and now in her second year as Principal of IDEA Montopolis Academy. Her journey through Chicago and Brooklyn's dynamic school environments highlights her academic passion and unwavering commitment to student success.

Continue ReadingMarie Banzon began serving as Assistant Principal of Operations at IDEA Montopolis in July 2023. Prior to this position, she served as an Assistant Principal of Instruction at IDEA Montopolis College Preparatory beginning in October 2022.
Marie brings with her 17 years of experience in education, including 10 years of experience as an Assistant Principal. She graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas in December 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Education specializing in Secondary Education Social Studies and is certified to teach English Language Arts and Reading, Mathematics, Physics, and Social Studies for Grades 8-12.
