Alexcia R. Daniels, originally from Harlem, New York, is a distinguished and advocate for first-generation college students. She graduated from the City College of New York with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and Sciences.
With 18 years of experience in the education field, Alexcia has served in various capacities including as a dean and in school operations. Her work is driven by a commitment to ensuring that children receive the support they need to thrive academically and personally. She operates "Children First", an initiative dedicated to aiding first-generation college students in achieving their educational goals.
In addition to her primary roles, Alexcia is a consultant who specializes in providing cultural competence training for educational institutions. She holds certifications in restorative justices practices, which she integrates into her training programs to foster inclusive and equitable educational environments. Her efforts have made a significant impact on the communities she serves, helping create supportive pathways for students from diverse backgrounds.
