FAQs

What types of HQ positions is IDEA hiring this year?

Each year we fill a wide variety of HQ positions across our Advancement, Human Assets, Finance, Human Resources, School, Programs, and Operations teams. A complete list of current openings can be found by viewing our open positions.

Where are HQ positions located?

We have HQ positions at our main Headquarters office in Weslaco, Texas. Our other Texas-based regional offices are located in: San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, Tarrant County, Houston, and Permian Basin. Other regional offices located in our affiliates are in: Tampa Bay, Florida, Jacksonville, Florida, and Greater Cincinnati, Ohio. 

How does the application process work?

Fill out our online application. After completing a resume review, we may reach out to you via email for a video or phone interview. After the initial interview, you may be asked to completing a screening exercise before being invited to a final interview with the hiring committee.

If I work for HQ can my kids go to IDEA?

Absolutely! IDEA encourages all staff members to enroll their children at IDEA. You will get automatic placement at an IDEA school and your child will not need to be selected through the blind lottery.
