Camp packing list

Here are the things you and your child will likely need to pack for Camp RIO this summer.

Put everything in a trunk or suitcase.  Trunks are nice because they also create a place to sit.

Glasses/contacts and cleaning solution
Prescription medication (In a ziplock Bag labeled with your camper's name- include medication form in bag)

Goggles for swimming

Rain Jacket
Shorts x 7
Sweatshirt (cabins are air-conditioned)
Swimsuit x 2
Swim shirt with UV protection
T-shirts x 7
Underwear x 7
Flip-flops (for shower-time)
Shoes, plus a spare pair
Socks x 7
Bedding — Bring twin size bed sheets, pillow and a comforter/blanket
Hand towel
Beach towels — can be used for bath or swimming
Shower caddy
Comb or brush
Bug repellent
Shampoo and conditioner
Soap in carrier
Toothbrush, toothbrush container and toothpaste
Flashlight and spare batteries
Laundry bag
Reusable water bottle or canteen
Writing paper, pre-addressed envelopes, stamps (or sign up for Bunk 1 to make it easy!)
Spending money (parents can put money in camp store online)
Comforts of home, like a family photo or a stuffed animal
Entertainment, like books and deck of cards
Small backpack
