Each month, IDEA Public Schools collects and celebrates student writing in order to recognize and reward exemplary student writing across grades 2nd-12th. Campus-wide writing competitions yield one winner per grade level, chosen to represent the campus at the regional level. All regional winners advance to the monthly IDEA national competition, where one piece of writing per grade level is chosen as the national winner. National winners’ writing is published here on IDEA’s website to highlight our honored scholars’ exceptional writing, and winners are awarded a $100 toward college.
