Preparing for Back to School: Meal Applications Now Available for Students at New IDEA Campuses

The 2021-2022 school year is quickly approaching and parents and guardians of students who are attending new IDEA campuses and IDEA Travis are encouraged to complete the free and reduced-price meals (FARM) application as soon as possible.  

Students attending the following schools will need to fill out an application for free-and-reduced-lunch:  

  • IDEA Amber Creek 
  • IDEA La Joya 
  • IDEA Lake Houston 
  • IDEA Mesquite Hills 
  • IDEA Southeast 
  • IDEA Travis  
  • IDEA Yukon 


Submit your application between July 1 – July 31! 

You can complete the meal eligibility application in person at your campus cafeteria or complete the quick and easy online application at prior to the first day of school. Note: It is important to fill out your student’s meal application before the first day of school or your child may incur a negative meal balance. If there are any changes to your household income during the year, you are welcome to reapply at any time.  

You also have the chance to win a touchscreen laptop! All you have to do is submit your meal application by July 31. All meal applications submitted from July 1-July 31 will be entered to win. See the step-by-step directions above.
