IDEA’s 12 Days of Fit-mas

Winter Break is a time to get in the holiday spirit, relax with loved ones and indulge in some delicious eats! Don’t forget – you can also make time to squeeze in a workout with your scholar to help them maintain their level of fitness during Winter Break.

The 12 Days of Fit-mas Challenge will give each student the opportunity to earn extra credit toward their effort grade, as well as maintain/increase their fitness levels during the Winter Break. The program will start on the first day of your Winter Break and end the day they return to school.

Here’s how it works! For each day of the break, students are assigned an activity to perform! Try this with your scholar to make it extra fun – family member or guardian participation preferred. At the conclusion of each activity, parents/guardians initial the day to verify the activity was completed. These activities are designed for our middle school scholars in 6th-8th grade, but we know that scholars of all ages will benefit and have fun with these exercises!

Stay healthy and safe during Winter Break, Team & Family! Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season.
