IDEA Public Schools applauds the Supreme Court’s decision that the ending of the Delayed Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program was unlawful. Since 2012, the DACA program has allowed over half a million young people, including many of our students, alumni, and Team & Family members, to continue to pursue lives of choice and opportunity in the country they call home. Still, this decision is just a first step. We call on Congress to provide a permanent path for childhood arrivals to learn and thrive in the United States.
