IDEA Public Schools is proud to announce that 43 of our elementary and middle schools are ranked among the best in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report. We also have the most schools ranked out of any district in Texas!
This is the first time U.S. News & World Report has published rankings of public elementary and middle schools. These rankings include 47,325 elementary schools and 23,255 middle schools.
Scoring was almost entirely rooted in students’ academic performance on state assessments in mathematics and reading/language arts. States administer academic assessments to determine whether learning in core subjects is achieved and to evaluate how well schools are educating their students.
