43 IDEA Elementary and Middle Schools ranked Best in the Nation by U.S. News & World Report
IDEA Public Schools tops all other Texas districts with the highest number of schools to make the list.
TEXAS (November 2, 2021) – According to U.S. News and World Report, 43 IDEA elementary and middle schools are the Best in the Nation – the most schools ranked out of any district in the state of Texas.
This is the first time U.S. News & World Report has published rankings of public elementary and middle schools.
Scoring was almost entirely rooted in students’ academic performance on state assessments in mathematics and reading/language arts. States administer academic assessments to determine whether learning in core subjects is achieved and to evaluate how well schools are educating their students. This year’s unprecedented achievement marks the 14th year that multiple IDEA schools have been ranked by U.S. News and World Report.
