15 IDEA High Schools Rank Among U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 Best High Schools

15 of IDEA’s high schools were ranked among the best high schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. This is the fourteenth consecutive year IDEA has been represented in the annual list of rankings, reflecting the hard work you are exhibiting every day for our students.

This achievement affirms what we know all too well – IDEA schools and everyone who is a part of our dedicated Team & Family prepare students to succeed in college and in life. Because of your commitment to our mission of getting students to and through college, every year thousands of students realize their dreams of matriculating to college.

In total, 17,843 high schools ranked nationally, and 1,481 high schools ranked in Texas using data from the 2019-2020 school year. Congratulations to the following schools for ranking among the nation’s top high schools this year by U.S. News & World Report including:

To calculate their list of the top-performing public schools in the nation, U.S. News & World Report examined college-readiness data based on a methodology that incorporates performance on state proficiency tests, participation in and performance on challenging college-level coursework and other data, such as graduation rates, for nearly 18,000 high schools.

Words cannot express how proud we are of these schools’ accomplishments. We know these recognitions are a result of the dedication, commitment, and support of so many educators, leaders and staff at IDEA and our families at home.
